I recently came across a GREAT diy project for picnics -

Picnic Blankets with Rock Pockets - a summer sewing project!

This blanket is a made from cotton squares and is sure to be used over and over as your picnic blanket.

You can use a bed sheet for backing and it even has a layer of batting in the middle to make it extra comfy!

Be sure to prewash your cotton before starting this project and you’ll end up with a picnic blanket you can wash and use again and again!
